Ken Goodey Watched a short live set on YT (when I was actually searching for something else!) and I liked their attitude. Unquestionably sincere about their music, but not taking themselves too seriously, and definitely having a lot of fun playing. This strong debut album reinforces the fact that we Brits can do BM just as well as anyone, and it also shows that Burial is a band worth keeping an eye on. Favorite track: Into Unlight.

I've been a huge fan of this band since hearing 'Campfires', an album which I've played to death! This one is a little different in a way, and it took me sooooo long to get in to, but once it clicked, holy shit did it click. Sea Fire is an absolute banger that evokes sounds of Filosofem era Burzum and Mystifier to my ears...not a bad mix at all. I love 'Ghostly Shores' so much I bought the CD and the Cassette and now I eagerly await whatever comes next from OCR. Skek-Gra

It's a fierce black metal record that has this really cool melodic parts that they seem to have singled out so it shines like a forest fire. Cool record althroughout and has been a favourite of mine eversince. Get on it. Warangelic

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf
